The Rahat Unistream Center established in 2011, was the first Unistream center in the Bedouin sector. The center was established with the support of the Authority for Development and Settlement of the Bedouin in the Negev. One of the most exciting projects developed there was a Muslim head covering for women that is put on in a matter of seconds. The center’s participants also continued to develop the venture after the program ended and were able to sell a large number of them on the open market. The Rahat Center prides itself on the large percentage of its graduates who are currently in academia.
