Assaf Weiss served as a Director at the American Jewish Congress in New York where he worked with senior U.S. government officials, senators, and other elected officials on matters such as international government affairs, anti-Semitism, and Israel-US relations. Prior to this, held the position of consultant to the former Health Minister of Israel and, on her behalf, led national reform, completed complex legislation and regulation, and coordinated government work and the Legislative Affairs Committee. Weiss was a member of the Executive Committee of Students Supporting Israel (SSI) at Colombia University in New York and helped lead the struggle against Anti-Semitism and promoted pro-Israel activities He has published ~30 articles in Hebrew and English in leading press in both Israel and the US

Holds a Bachlor dagree in Economics and the Environment from the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment, and a Masters in Law. Have a Background in youth guidance, and Worked at the financial department in ALTA.
